Who created Lagos Life?
Nigerian developer Shalom Rayhamen built the game. She posts on X as @Shalom_HeyEliy. Some outlets write her name as Shalom Mathew, and operator names vary (Eliy, Vatar Inc.). TechCabal reported a $500,000 angel round on 9 October 2026.
Lagos Life player milestones
Rayhamen announced on 6 October 2026 that the game had passed 2 million players, with Abuja and Port Harcourt live. In the same post she said more than 101,000 players were online at the same time and that the game had seen over 10 million visits that day. Reports tracking the game dashboard put concurrent players above 100,000, and later coverage reported over 4 million players by 9 October 2026. These figures come mainly from the game's own dashboard and have not been independently audited.
